Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and create, test, and deploy business rules within the Drools Rule Engine.
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to refine epics and ensure the technical team is aligned and understands the requirements.
• Contribute as an individual developer in a cross-functional agile team, and help mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure that software is scalable, reliable, and meets SLAs. Support cloud-based architecture and distributed systems.
• Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless integration and high-quality code delivery.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in creating and deploying business rules within the Drools Rule Engine.
• Strong knowledge of Python or Core Java, PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, and Hive.
• Solid understanding of the credit card industry and experience with design thinking.
• Experience working in agile teams, refining epics, and contributing to sprint goals.
• Experience with cloud-based architecture and distributed systems, ensuring scalability and availability.
• Proven ability to support and maintain high-availability, mission-critical platforms.
