Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for data validation across various BI projects.
• Write test cases and conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data.
• Work closely with development teams to address any data inconsistencies or issues discovered during testing.
• Develop automated data testing and validation scripts using tools such as Alteryx, Python, or SQL.
• Create and optimize Alteryx workflows for data processing and transformation.
• Produce clear and concise operational support documentation, including runbooks, for the development and support teams.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that documentation is up to date and reflects system changes and configurations.
• Prepare release notes and related documentation for the deployment of BI solutions.
• Ensure that all changes to BI systems are documented for change control and comply with organizational processes.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they are able to effectively use BI tools and dashboards.
• Address and resolve any user issues, facilitating smooth adoption of BI solutions

Required Experience

• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Matillion, Talend, or similar.
• Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with financial systems, processes, and best practices, particularly in a fintech or financial services environment.
• Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), including dashboards, calculated measures, and SLAs.
• Proficiency in creating Source to Target Mapping documents and Technical Specifications Documents (TSD).
• Knowledge of creating data dictionaries, data model specifications, and wireframes.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, and familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Experience with Python for data validation and scripting tasks.
