We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and expertise in data visualization and reporting tools. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, generating insights, and helping to drive business strategies through data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Utilize SQL and relational database concepts to query and manipulate data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Alteryx to prepare data for analysis.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to present insights to stakeholders.
- Employ Python for data analysis and automation of reporting processes.
- Use SQL Server Management Studio to manage and optimize database performance.
- Work with Azure Synapse to integrate and analyze large data sets in the cloud.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models and reports to support data analysis and business reporting needs.
- Prepare high-quality presentations using PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Utilize data modeling tools such as ErWin and Embarcadero to design and document data structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and ETL processes.
- Proficient in Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and Azure Synapse.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of data modeling tools such as ErWin and Embarcadero is a plus.
