Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
BCDR expert will assist with outreach and requirements gathering for 5 agencies with the intention of teaching ETS staff BCDR program workflows and process methodologies to incorporate the remaining agencies into the BCDR plan. Additional deliverables include business impact analysis and disaster recover strategy guide.
Creation of BCDR program and methodology including gap analysis, recovery strategies, and roadmaps.
Creation of Business Impact Analysis
Recommendations for technologies and infrastructure to facilitate the BCDR plan.
Training ETS staff to continue the BCDR workflow to completion for all State agencies.
Accommodation for HIPPA, CJIS, and IRS Pub 1075 requirements for Family Services, Health, and Criminal Investigations.
Qualifications
Experience & comfortable engaging teams and providing awareness sessions to educate on BCDR requirements
Certification in BCDR (e.g., CBCP, CISM) or a related field (e.g., ITIL).
10+ years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or a related field.
Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Experience with risk management and crisis management techniques.
