Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and development teams, to understand and document business objectives and requirements.
Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
Develop detailed business requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to clarify business needs.
Work closely with technology teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of business requirements during the development lifecycle.
Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and existing systems, and propose solutions.
Participate in the design and evaluation of proposed technology solutions, providing input on feasibility, functionality, and alignment with business goals.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and interviews to elicit and document requirements and user feedback.
Define and prioritize project scope and objectives based on business priorities.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process models, requirements traceability matrices, and project plans.
Continuously monitor and communicate project progress and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5 to 8 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
Proven expertise in business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies is advantageous.
Proficiency in documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Visio).
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic project environments.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
Business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
