Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to healthcare interoperability and FHIR-based data exchange.
Support the design and implementation of FHIR standards for data sharing, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with technical teams to define and implement interoperability strategies, ensuring smooth data integration across healthcare systems (EHRs, HIS, etc.).
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure understanding of requirements, functionality, and limitations.
Utilize deep knowledge of the healthcare industry to ensure business processes align with regulatory and industry standards.
Create detailed documentation (user stories, process flows, functional specifications) and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Work with QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation of interoperability solutions and FHIR-based data exchange.
Assist in identifying and resolving any challenges related to interoperability, data exchange, and FHIR implementation.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst with a focus on healthcare interoperability and FHIR.
FHIR Expertise: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with FHIR standards, resources, and APIs.
Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Solid background in the healthcare industry, including healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, CDA) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve interoperability issues.
Tools & Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and other project management software.
Preferred Qualifications
FHIR Certification: FHIR Implementation or expertise certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of APIs, web services, and data integration tools (HL7, RESTful APIs).
Project Management: Experience working in a project management capacity or familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
