A Bachelor’s degree, MS preferred, in Biomedical or related engineering discipline (Bioengineering, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering), or Computer Science with emphasis on Bioinformatics is a necessity.
Strong foundation in engineering principles (mechatronics and biomedical systems), software development, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Minimum 8 years’ experience with systems integration, engineering or informatics discipline.
Direct experience in a clinical laboratory, IVD, or related healthcare environment considered a plus.
Proven experience with Microsoft .NET or related software development technologies.
Able to identify and compile system requirements from discussion with business representatives and end-users.
Familiar with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar CAD tools to generate facility, equipment, and work center layouts to analyze and communicate space planning relationships and constraints.
