Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and efficient banking applications and services based on the BIAN architecture and best practices.
• Leverage the BIAN framework to ensure that all developed solutions are in compliance with industry standards, specifically for banking services such as payments, loans, and account management.
• Work alongside business analysts, solution architects, and other development teams to define and implement functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implement integrations with various internal and external systems, leveraging technologies such as Kafka, REST APIs, and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to process improvements and innovation within the team, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability of the applications.
• Ensure the highest quality of code with proper documentation, automated tests, and peer reviews.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for applications and services in production, working closely with operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java development, including hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working within the BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) framework or similar banking models is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices including Agile methodologies and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of modern database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
