Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend systems that are highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable, leveraging cloud-native and distributed system design patterns.
• Architect and develop robust, well-documented APIs that are used by various consumer applications and services.
• Utilize cloud technologies and containerization tools like Docker to build, deploy, and scale backend systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of applications.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or similar orchestration tools for managing cloud resources in a scalable and efficient manner.
• Contribute to the development of backend services using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, ensuring high performance and clean code.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and other engineers, to ensure the smooth integration and operation of backend systems.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in backend engineering, focusing on cloud-native architectures, containerization, and API design.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including container orchestration and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems design patterns, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Extensive experience with Terraform or other orchestration tools for managing infrastructure.
• Experience with backend services development in Python, JavaScript, or other backend technologies.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
