The Azure DevOps Test Lead drives testing across the SDLC, ensuring high-quality delivery of IT initiatives. The role involves functional testing, test planning, defect management, and team mentoring, with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps Test Plans in an Agile environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead testing efforts, including functional, regression, integration, performance, UAT, and unit testing.
- Develop and execute test cases, maintain traceability, and ensure test coverage.
- Manage defects: identification, logging, tracking, triage, and resolution.
- Support test planning, reporting, and documentation; communicate metrics to stakeholders.
- Mentor and train test team members; facilitate meetings with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, development teams, and test tool vendors.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in functional testing and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and test case design.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
