Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and document target technical architectures for migrating legacy applications (PCF/WebLogic/Tomcat) to Azure Kubernetes Services
• Conduct architecture assessments and define modernization roadmaps
• Review and evaluate system configurations (hardware, software, messaging components)
• Ensure cloud-native principles are incorporated into architecture and design
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions
• Define and maintain disaster recovery strategies and architectures
• Guide and mentor development teams on best practices in cloud architecture
• Participate in solution reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and architecture blueprints

Required Skills

• Proven experience in microservices-based architecture
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot
• Experience with API Gateway technologies (Azure API Management, Kong, etc.)
• Strong understanding of relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
• Hands-on with DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and containerization (Docker, Helm)
• Familiarity with legacy platforms such as PCF, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
