Roles and Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking services.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Implement security best practices for Azure resources, including firewalls, security groups, DDoS protection, and network security policies.
• Administer Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for user and group management, role assignments, licenses, and access policies. Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• Monitor Azure AD performance and health, leveraging tools like Azure Monitor and Azure AD Logs, and generate reports on user activity, sign-ins, and security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements related to identity management and cloud infrastructure security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure, network performance, and security issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal service disruption.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD), including security updates, monitoring, and ensuring optimal performance for end users.
• Integrate applications with Azure Active Directory for SSO and authentication, ensuring secure access to cloud-hosted applications.
• Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track resource performance, uptime, and incident detection.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure cloud services (VMs, storage, networking, Azure AD, etc.).
• Proficiency in managing Azure networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer).
• Experience with identity and access management (Azure AD, MFA, SSO).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or automation tools.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104 or AZ-303) are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Azure security services (Azure Firewall, Security Center).
• Experience with cloud migration and disaster recovery in Azure.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA) for cloud environments.
