Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data architectures using AWS services including S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for ingesting and processing large-scale travel bookings data.
• Implement data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks in line with GBT regulations.
• Develop data models, dictionaries, and catalogs for AMOS data.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and access control per GBT Infosec standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline and storage performance.
• Stay current with AWS innovations and promote best practices within the team.
• Provide technical mentorship to the data engineering team.

Required Skills

• AWS Services: S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, Aurora, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, DMS, MWAA, Step Functions
• Tools & Concepts: Apache Airflow, Dimensional Data Modeling, QuickSight
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and security in cloud environments.
