Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems (AWS and Azure) for high availability, security, and performance.
• Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network security to ensure secure environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and infrastructure management using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for efficient provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Design and manage multi-account/multi-subscription architectures to optimize security and governance.
• Enforce cloud governance policies for compliance, security, and cost management across cloud environments.
• Design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPC, subnets, VPN, Direct Connect, and Load Balancers.
• Monitor cloud systems to ensure operational efficiency, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, security, and development) to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Implement cloud cost optimization strategies through rightsizing, spot instances, reserved instances, and usage monitoring.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, or similar languages to support cloud infrastructure management and monitoring.
• Support cloud-related troubleshooting and provide technical guidance on best practices to teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Expertise in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for IaC.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, network security).
• Knowledge of cloud governance, multi-account management, and cost optimization.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or similar certifications.
