•Be able to design, development, and support of enterprise.

•Work closely with architects and engineers to design, build, and iterate on a suite of automation which is responsible for the infrastructure setup, configuration, and database provisioning providing a 'Platform as a Service' like experience

•Databases including Couch base, Cassandra, Neo4J, Postgres, Redis, Cloud Spanner, Big Query and messaging systems like Kafka and Cloud Pub/Sub.

•This role requires a cloud native design philosophy.

•Responsibilities across public cloud providers as well as our on-prem data centers and/or stores.

•This lead for Platform's Persistence team absolutely requires a strong passion and drive for automation, consumer experience, and improvement.

•10+ years of experience in software development, systems administration, or a related field

•AWS Certification is must.

•3+ years of experience provisioning, configuring, or managing relational or NoSQL databases

•3+ years of experience building or integrating solutions in public cloud; AWS

 

Nice To Have Skills:

•Strong understanding of and passion for a DevOps culture

•Experience working with various types of distributed and NoSql Databases like Couch base, Cassandra, Neo4j

•Knowledge of design and implementation of messaging technologies like Kafka and Google pub/sub

•Implement HA solution and define Backup/Recovery strategy
