Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled AWS Full Stack Application Engineer with strong experience in modern frontend and backend application development using React, TypeScript, and AWS cloud services.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications using AWS serverless technologies, including AWS AppSync, Lambda, and DynamoDB. The role requires strong full-stack development capabilities, experience designing and developing GraphQL APIs, and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build modern frontend applications using React functional components, hooks, and reusable UI components.
- Develop backend services and application logic using TypeScript and AWS serverless technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs using AWS AppSync.
- Build and manage serverless backend applications using AWS Lambda.
- Design, develop, and optimize data models and database operations using Amazon DynamoDB.
- Develop and integrate frontend and backend components to deliver end-to-end application functionality.
- Implement secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native application architectures on AWS.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation using Terraform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, and other developers to deliver reliable application solutions.
- Troubleshoot application, API, integration, and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Follow best practices for application performance, security, scalability, code quality, and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack application development.
- Proficiency in React, particularly functional components and React Hooks.
- Strong TypeScript development experience across frontend and backend applications.
- Hands-on experience with AWS AppSync and GraphQL API development.
- Strong experience developing and managing AWS Lambda functions.
- Experience with Amazon DynamoDB, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native application development on AWS.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
- Good understanding of application security, performance optimization, scalability, and cloud architecture.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and implementing event-driven and distributed application architectures.
- Familiarity with AWS security, IAM, monitoring, and application observability services.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment automation.
- Knowledge of AWS best practices for building highly available and scalable applications.
