Role and Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain observability strategies using AWS and Dynatrace.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to ensure end-to-end visibility into application performance.
• Provide guidance on integrating observability tools and practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor application performance, identifying bottlenecks, anomalies, and potential issues.
• Analyze performance data and deliver recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Assist in the detection, diagnosis, and resolution of application performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall application reliability and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming, scripting, and automation skills, particularly with Terraform.
• Proficiency in using Dynatrace for application performance monitoring, including setting up dashboards and alerts.
• Expertise in AWS services, including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, EKS, ECS, Lambda, and EC2.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Splunk.
• Knowledge of Core Java and Microservices architecture, with experience working through a Java/Spring Boot background.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in observability or DevOps roles.
