Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using UFT, Selenium, or other relevant tools.
• Design and implement robust test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Utilize tools such as HP ALM/QC, JIRA, and Rally for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
• Adapt to new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes and tools.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on test progress, issues, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of automation scripting experience including creation of test automation framework and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with one or more Automation test tools like UFT, Java, or Selenium.
• Strong experience within the Agile Methodology.
• Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in dynamic environment.
• Deep understanding of software development and QA life cycle process ( including test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting ).
• Strong knowledge of tools such as HP ALM/QC, JIRA, and Rally.
• Prior Experience in Automation Testing ( UFT/QTP/Selenium/TOSCA/RIT ).
• Adaptive, flexible, and comfortable working in a matrix environment such as a Sr. team member or an individual contributor.
• Excellent written and Verbal communication.
