Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance software solutions using AS/400 programming languages, including RPG IV, RPG Free, CL, and DDS.
• Write efficient and well-structured code to implement business logic and functionality on the AS/400 platform.
• Maintain and enhance existing AS/400 applications by troubleshooting issues, implementing bug fixes, and optimizing performance.
• Provide support during SIT/UAT testing.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed applications.
• Integrate software with existing systems.
• Analyze the performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with the Client and approval of the Technical Lead.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field
• Minimum 4 years of software engineering or software development experience within medium/large organizations.
• Knowledge in AS400-related application development.
• Relevant experience as a developer using AS400/i-Series Technologies.
• Should have working experience in Cobol 400 CLP DB2 and SQL400.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working with RPG III, RPG 400, RPG IV, RPG free format, RPG ILE CL.
