Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for enterprise or customer-facing applications, resolving issues and answering queries in a timely manner.
• Monitor application performance and availability, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues by working with logs, scripts, and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify root causes of issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests following ITIL or similar processes.
• Participate in application deployments, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Maintain documentation for support processes, known issues, and FAQs.
• Provide training and guidance to users or junior support staff as needed.
• Assist in automating repetitive tasks and improving monitoring and alerting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in an application support or IT support role.
• Proficiency in analyzing application logs and error reports.
• Basic understanding of SQL and ability to query databases.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix or Windows server environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
