The APM Data Steward ensures the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of application data within the Application Portfolio Management (APM) system of record. This role supports technology asset lifecycle management, governance, risk, and regulatory compliance by enforcing data standards and validating all changes with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, complete, and standardized application records in APM and TDAR.
- Perform regular data quality reviews to identify and remediate duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent records.
- Validate and process requests for application additions, updates, and decommissioning, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise taxonomy, CMDB, and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards.
- Collaborate with Application Owners, Technology Owners, ServiceNow teams, and governance stakeholders to enforce APM standards.
- Provide guidance on data requirements, compliance expectations, and governance processes.
- Produce reports and dashboards to track data quality, compliance, KPIs, and KRIs.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to Technology Asset Management (TAM) standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI B-13).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow and Application Portfolio Management.
- Strong understanding of CSDM, CMDB, and IT governance frameworks.
- Experience in data stewardship, risk, and audit processes.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive approach to enforcing governance while supporting business needs.
