Appian Senior Developer

We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable workflow, case management, and automation solutions on the Appian Low-Code Platform. The role requires strong hands-on expertise with Appian objects, integrations, security models, and performance optimization across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Appian applications: Records, Process Models, SAIL interfaces, Sites, Dashboards, Data Stores, CDTs, and XSD structures

• Implement human-in-the-loop workflows (approvals, reviews, exceptions)

• Define and manage role-based access (RBAC), SSO, MFA, OAuth2, and secure credential handling

• Build integrations using Connected Systems, Web APIs, and REST/SOAP services; handle data ingestion, transformation, and error handling

• Optimize platform performance: process models, data stores, integrations, UI rendering, and conduct load testing

• Support DEV → TEST → STAGE → PROD deployments; maintain change management and release governance

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support

• Create technical design documents, runbooks, and reusable frameworks

Required Skills

• Appian: SAIL, process models, Records, integrations, data modeling

• Experience with relational databases, query optimization, and troubleshooting

• Collaboration with business analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams

• Good to have: AWS knowledge
