Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform backend and API functional testing, and automate test scripts using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Conduct performance testing with tools such as JMeter, K6, and Speedcurve.
• Implement and maintain API test frameworks (e.g., Rest Assured, Pactumjs).
• Manage test automation infrastructure (e.g., Appium/Selenium grid).
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Validate database integrity with SQL and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and use Agile tools like JIRA for test management.
• Generate test reports and provide feedback on process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on QE testing across various platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in performance testing and measuring server and client-side metrics.
• 2+ years of experience in security testing.
• Proficiency in Java and experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6, Speedcurve).
• Hands-on experience implementing API frameworks.
• Experience with test automation infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and build tools (e.g., Maven, ANT).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., Charles, Fiddler) and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog).
• Experience with Agile Management tools and Test Management tools.
• Any certifications related to QE, Process, Automation, Performance Testing, or Security Testing are highly desirable.
