We are seeking a highly experienced API Python Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade API solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RESTful services, scripting (Python/Java), application deployment processes, and a solid understanding of firewall, network security, and bot attack prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead and support enterprise-wide bot attack prevention initiatives.
- Implement and maintain firewall and network security controls.
- Work closely with engineering and security teams to ensure secure API integration.
- Troubleshoot issues related to API performance, deployment, and authentication flows.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and functionality.
- Hands-on scripting experience with Python and Java.
- Understanding of application deployment flows, including login/authentication processes.
- Solid knowledge of firewall and network security; experience with bot attack types.
- Good to have: Familiarity with WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
