Key Responsibilities

• Define and enforce API design standards and guidelines.
• Lead API design reviews and guide the federated API design team.
• Create and maintain API specifications using tools like OpenAPI (Swagger).
• Manage API lifecycle processes, including creation, deployment, versioning, and retirement.
• Select deployment options and configure API gateways for routing and security.
• Implement event-driven APIs and monitor API performance.
• Ensure API security with measures like authentication and authorization.
• Design and maintain a developer portal, enabling interactive documentation and custom approval workflows.
• Explore API monetization strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in API technologies (REST, GraphQL) and tools (Swagger, Postman).
• Strong programming knowledge (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS API Gateway).
• Strong understanding of API security, performance monitoring, and testing.
