Key Responsibilities

• Develop Ansible playbooks and modules.
• Work collaboratively with the GITM engineering team to create and deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed data center infrastructure environment.
• Develop and maintain a strategic plan for centralizing Ansible automation.
• Create, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles that automate various tasks, configurations, and deployments.
• Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration, and provide SME-level support.
• Provide technical support to GITM Ops concerning automation solution usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
• Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on design and development experience in Ansible automation.
• Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower. 
• Strong experience coding and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Batch files, etc.)
• Knowledge in configuring systems, deploying software, and orchestrating advanced workflows to support application deployment.
• Experience in building servers, migration from puppet to Ansible, and knowledge of Python scripting is a plus.
• Good hands-on experience in DevOps. Git, GitHub actions, and Powershell scripting.
