Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications for mobile phones and tablets.
• Implement code governance practices, including code reviews, quality metrics, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Develop and enhance native Android frameworks, contributing to reusable and scalable components.
• Utilize Android SDK performance tools to optimize application performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Design and implement solutions using Dagger, RX Java, and MVVM architecture patterns to ensure robust and maintainable code.
• Apply strong programming skills in Java and Kotlin to deliver high-quality code and innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing native Android applications for mobile phones and tablets.
• Proven experience leading a development team, including mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining code governance practices and quality metrics.
• Strong experience in designing and developing native Android frameworks and components.
• Excellent programming skills in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Android SDK performance tools and techniques for application optimization.
• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) and design skills, including familiarity with design patterns.
• Experience with Dagger, RX Java, and MVVM architecture patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with additional tools and libraries such as Retrofit, Glide, or Room.
• Experience with cross-platform development tools or frameworks.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.
