Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models to support financial, operational, and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, efficient Anaplan solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Python/PySpark.
• Develop intuitive and visually engaging dashboards and reports using Excel and, optionally, Power BI.
• Implement best practices in Anaplan model design to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate Anaplan with external systems and databases using REST APIs and ETL frameworks.
• Document model architecture, design decisions, and technical processes.
• Participate in version control and CI/CD processes using GitHub and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, business analysts, and finance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in building data models and scalable reporting solutions.
• Proven experience as an Anaplan Model Builder with strong understanding of Anaplan’s modeling architecture, functions, and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and data wrangling using Python or PySpark.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and visualization.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to design user-friendly interfaces.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Power BI for interactive reporting and dashboarding.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub for source control and project tracking.
• Exposure to Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Understanding of Azure or other cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Proficiency in using MS Visual Studio, VS Code, or other modern IDEs.
• Experience creating technical diagrams and workflows in tools like Lucidchart.
