Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Alteryx Developer to design, develop, and optimize data workflows that improve business processes, data quality, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for building scalable automation solutions, transforming complex datasets, and supporting data-driven reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Alteryx Designer, data integration, and workflow optimization, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Alteryx workflows to support business reporting, analytics, and operational processes.
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, automation, and governance.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Create and maintain workflow documentation, technical specifications, process documentation, and data mapping.
- Support testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of workflow solutions.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and implement enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and recommend automation opportunities.
- Ensure solutions follow organizational standards, governance, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, including building, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex workflows.
- Experience with ETL development, data integration, and transformation of large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
- Experience working with relational databases and multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience implementing data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation, data governance, and workflow best practices is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting finance, accounting, tax, or other enterprise data transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
- Experience integrating Alteryx with cloud platforms, APIs, or enterprise data warehouses.
- Alteryx Designer certification is a plus.
