Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in Aladdin to support data integration and operational processes across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Aladdin data model and its application across data platforms, risk systems, distribution tools, and regulatory systems. This role plays a critical part in defining the target operating model and ensuring seamless data flow and governance.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Leverage a strong understanding of the Aladdin data model to support data integration into internal systems including:
    • Data platforms
    • Client portals
    • Risk systems (e.g., Athena)
    • Distribution tools (reporting systems, client websites)
    • Finance, compliance, and regulatory applications
  • Work with data from core data warehouses to enable downstream usage across performance, risk, and operational platforms.
  • Focus on key data domains such as:
    • Security Master
    • IBOR (Investment Book of Record)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and support performance and risk integration needs.
  • Define and implement the Target Operating Model (TOM) for Aladdin integration, including:
    • Ownership, data flow controls, error handling, and notification processes
  • Drive process optimization and alignment across cross-functional teams.

 

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst in financial services, with direct exposure to Aladdin.
  • Deep understanding of the Aladdin platform and data model across various domains (e.g., Security Master, IBOR, Risk, Performance).
  • Experience in data integration, working with data warehouses, and building interfaces for enterprise systems.
  • Ability to document and define operational models, controls, and data flow processes.
  • Proven track record in defining data ownership, controls, and exception handling frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to connect business needs with technical solutions.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with risk systems such as Athena or similar in-house platforms.
  • Experience supporting finance, compliance, or regulatory reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of performance attribution systems and data governance best practices.
  • Previous experience in asset or investment management environments.
