Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Python and Java. Develop reusable scripts for data profiling, anomaly detection, and KPI tracking.
• Design and maintain ETL workflows using Python, Java, and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from relational and cloud-based sources.
• Automate data cleansing and transformation using Power Query, Apache POI (Java), and VBA, ensuring data integrity and schema compliance.
• Build interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or custom interfaces. Integrate data via DAX, APIs, and Power Query for unified reporting.
• Work with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
• Explore new tools, libraries, and frameworks. Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and performance enhancement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python (data analysis, scripting) and Java (backend data processing).
• Advanced SQL skills across PostgreSQL and MSSQL.
• Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and pipeline development.
• Strong skills in Power BI or Tableau, and Excel (Power Query, VBA).
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming and data pipeline orchestration.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Experience with DuckDB, Polars, or high-performance analytics engines.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with Git, machine learning, or statistical inference.
• Background in financial services or regulated environments.
