This role bridges Operations, Engineering, and IT to deliver secure, governed, production-grade AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
Required Experience
- 10+ years in data/analytics architecture (manufacturing/industrial preferred)
- 3+ years delivering AI/ML or GenAI solutions in production
- Hands-on with plant data, time-series analytics, OT/IT integration
- Strong consulting skills (problem solving, exec communication, workshops)
Preferred Skills
- Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP
- Databricks or Snowflake
- Streaming: Kafka, Event Hubs
- ML: MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker
- GenAI: Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex AI; vector DBs
- Exposure to digital thread, smart factory, digital twin
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, IT
- Develop solutions and RFQ/RFP responses
- Translate manufacturing needs into AI use cases (predictive maintenance, quality, yield, throughput, inventory)
- Architect OT/IT platforms (historians, MES, ERP, cloud)
- Design AI/ML & GenAI solutions (time-series, CV, RAG copilots)
- Define MLOps/LLMOps frameworks
- Create executive-ready architectures, roadmaps, value stories
- Act as trusted advisor in plant visits and governance forums
