Aero Structural Design Engineer

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• Hands-on experience in Aerospace Structural Design (Primary and Secondary Structures)
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5
• Good understanding of sheet metal and machined part design
• Knowledge of configuration management and engineering change processes
• Experience in drafting for machined and sheet metal components

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and define engineering drawings for parts, assemblies, and installations, and own release activities
• Manage design changes through end-to-end change management lifecycle
• Provide technical solutions for design and manufacturing issues
• Support design reviews, program reviews, and supplier/partner coordination
• Ensure documentation support for certification and airworthiness compliance
• Work on KIT drawings and retrofit design (preferred)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design decisions and integration
• Define and manage ICDs (Interface Control Documents)
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and engineering best practices
