Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the AEM content platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of the system.
  • Manage user roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels for different users and teams.
  • Handle content publishing processes, including staging, approvals, and deployment of content across various environments.
  • Monitor and optimize AEM performance, including server performance tuning, resource management, and load balancing.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect the platform from vulnerabilities and unauthorized access. Regularly update and patch the system to address security issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to AEM sites, including content rendering, server errors, and system performance.
  • Set up and configure AEM instances, including author and publisher environments, ensuring proper installation and configuration.
  • Configure and manage AEM Dispatcher and Apache web servers to optimize content delivery and caching.
  • Perform upgrades to AEM instances and Java versions as required, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for AEM applications and content.

 

Qualifications
  • Should be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the content platform, handling tasks such as user access management managing content publishing, platform optimization, security, and user support.
  • Developers of AEM with admin tasks.
  • Candidate should have experience in setting up AEM instances.
  • Should know dispatcher configuration and Apache web servers.
  • Should be able to upgrade AEM instances as well as Java versions as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues with AEM sites.
  • Experience with CI/CD would be needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in AEM or related technologies are a plus.
