We are seeking an actuarial professional with experience in actuarial pricing, reserving, rate management, and regulatory rate filings for U.S.-based Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, actuarial knowledge, and effective communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior staff.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform actuarial analysis related to pricing, reserving, rate indications, and profitability studies for U.S. P&C insurance products.
- Support the development and submission of regulatory rate filings.
- Prepare documentation, exhibits, and actuarial reports to support filing decisions and regulatory compliance.
- Research and interpret regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
- Maintain and track current regulatory guidelines and filing standards.
- Prepare presentations and status reports related to filing activities and actuarial projects.
- Conduct independent actuarial analyses and present findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on actuarial deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior actuarial team members.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support project management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum credit of 5 actuarial exams.
- Experience in actuarial pricing, reserving, rate management, and/or regulatory filings for U.S. P&C insurance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and actuarial/analytical tools.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and analytical platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
